House Clara
House Clara is situated in the center of the town. Umag is a small city with little more than 10.000 people. If you want a mediterrian holiday you're on the right place.If you want a crystal blue sea,olives,grilled fish ,good wine,a rosemary and lavander than you're on the right place. The evning is also good in Umag. The first destination in Croatia is our city.
Our House is a house with 3 apartments,4+3.4+1+2+1. A owner is a professional fisherman.
The price of the apartment including:
-a tax for a tourism
-one dinner in base of fish,vegetetable or meat
-a breakfast in the fridge
-a bikes
-a welcome package which including: a bottle of home made wine,a bottle of home made brandy, a fish pate' and a home made bread( without an aditives)
-in the price of the apartment you can also use our taverna( a old Istrian house in front of the house where you have inside a fireplace)

We would like to introduce ourselves and to acquaint you with a new offer in the tourism of Istra-Croatia.In our town there is a large organization of mushrooms gathers who know various species of mushrooms and medical herbs. Therefore ,we can organize long walks in our woods for individuals or groups of tourists.You will certainly notice the originality of our offe rwhich includes the accommodation in our apartments as well as mushrooming .If you want to have fun we can give you an unforgettable experience of doing some cooking together -we can prepare the previously gathered mushrooms or pickle them.Istra is one of the European regions richest in species of mushrooms.We are proud of these fruits and we try to save this richness for the new generations by using it rationally and by protecting and taking care of our woods and meadows.
The first species of mushrooms grow in spring.In autumn ,depending of the weather and mouth there are many more species of mushrooms .The mushrooms season usually starts with Boletus edulis,Boletus aereus ,all species of Leccinum and a lots of others.
As far as your holiday is concerned ,we can make the plan of your stay according to your wishes. Your wishes are very important to us and we will try to make your trip stay here as pleasant as possible.
We are gled to realized this offer which connects tourism with the fruits of the earth and to have given you the possibility to learn about hte world of mushrooms in our region.

There are many bike and walking trails. The bikes in our house Clara are GRATIS !!!
