Baska Voda is located 9.5 kilometers from Makarska. People work in tourism and fishing, and also grow vineyards, cherries and figs. The area surrounding Baska Voda is wooded and there are also gravel beaches. As numerous finds suggest, Baska Voda was inhabited already in antiquity.
