Baska Voda is located 9.5 kilometers from Makarska. People work in tourism and fishing, and also grow vineyards, cherries and figs. The area surrounding Baska Voda is wooded and there are also gravel beaches. As numerous finds suggest, Baska Voda was inhabited already in antiquity.

Baska Voda holiday accommodation facilities in hotels, private accommodation, apartments and camps. Baska Voda is known by its white pebbly beaches. Baska Voda has over 20 restaurants, pizzerias and tavernas, numerous cafés and pastery shops.
